Full body means treating every area you want cleared on a single coordinated schedule rather than booking them piecemeal. It is the longest appointment we run and the most straightforward to keep track of, because every area is on the same spacing. Which areas are included is entirely your choice and is set out at the consultation.
There is no fixed definition, and we do not pretend otherwise. A full-body plan is the set of areas you choose, treated on one schedule: commonly underarms, legs, bikini or Brazilian, arms, chest, stomach, and back and shoulders, with face and neck added where wanted. At the consultation we write down exactly which areas are included and quote on that basis, so there is nothing to discover later.
The reason to combine them is practical rather than cosmetic. Every area follows the same spacing, so booking them separately means juggling several overlapping schedules — and areas that drift out of sync produce visible borders where one has progressed further than its neighbour.
A full-body session is the longest visit on our menu, and your technician works through the areas in a set order so nothing is missed between sessions. Some clients prefer to split the body across two shorter visits in the same week instead of one long one; that is available and makes no difference to the result as long as the spacing between rounds stays consistent.

The things that go wrong on a full-body plan are the ordinary ones, multiplied: a missed shave on an area you forgot about, a holiday tan, or a session pushed back far enough that it misses the growth phase it was timed for.
The Candela GentleMax Pro is licensed for every Fitzpatrick skin type: the Alexandrite wavelength suits lighter skin and the Nd:YAG passes through the skin’s own pigment to reach the hair, which is why it is the safer choice for deeper skin tones. Your technician confirms your skin type and patch-tests before the first full pass.
Across a full-body plan your technician will often use both platforms: the LightSheer Duet for covering large surfaces like legs and back efficiently, and the GentleMax Pro where precision or a specific wavelength matters. That choice is made per area, per skin type.
A full-body plan makes sense if you are already treating several areas, or intend to. If you are starting out, there is nothing wrong with treating one area first to see how your skin and hair respond before committing to the whole thing — we would rather you did that than bought a plan you are unsure about. Laser only works on pigmented hair, so any grey, white or very fine blonde hair in the plan will not respond, and we will identify that at the consultation.

Yes. Tell your technician and the plan is adjusted. Bear in mind that an area added late starts its own course from the beginning, so it will be behind the others for a while.
